What is industrial heating oil?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Industrial heating oil is a cost-effective drop-in replacement for anyone who uses class D gas oil for commercial boiler applications to generate heat. As its name suggests, industrial heating oil is specifically designed for use solely in heating applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Industrial heating oil is strictly prohibited for use in both on and off-road vehicles or any static engines. So unlike diesel, it cannot be used in agricultural or construction equipment and machinery.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

How is industrial heating oil made?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Similar to the way other fuels are produced, heating oil is made from petroleum through a process that heats crude oil to high temperatures in a fractionating column.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Industrial heating oil is also similar to kerosene and is often used as an alternative, with the only substantial difference being that it condenses at a higher temperature of around 250\u00b0C – 350\u00b0C during production.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What is industrial heating oil used for?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Industrial heating oil is a commercially appealing alternative to diesel. It\u2019s specifically intended for use in a heating capacity in large open spaces such as factories, warehouses, colleges and schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It can be used in a wide range of commercial boilers, dryers and heaters, whilst preserving heat output and performance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
